Indianola boys swimmer Nathan Pollard has committed to the swimming program at McKendree University, a Division II school in Illinois. Pollard, who lives in Pleasantville, tells KNIA Sports he felt comfortable with the feel of the program and the school.

“I really loved the campus, I loved the team. They are there for good athletic success, and I think that I can really further myself with this team.”

Pollard also said he is still looking forward to competing at the state meet for the Indians this season, and he is hoping to beat his own school record in several events.
