Marion County Extension is looking to hire two interns for the summer of 2023. One intern will focus on youth programs such as day camps, workshops and more. They will have a role in the fair as well. 

Ashtin Wells, county youth coordinator for Marion County Extension, tells KNIA/KRLS News what type person they are looking for as interns, “We are looking for someone that is in college to come in so any range from first year in college to a senior even if you’re graduated and looking for an internship.”

The second intern will focus on Fair and help with youth programming. Both internships are $11 an hour starting in May-August. Applications and resumes are due to the Extension Office on December 21st.They can be emailed to Ashtin at ashtinw@istate.edu

Wells added that both positions will be full-time jobs.
