The Twin Cedars Basketball Squads split with Moravia on Tuesday with the girls sneaking it out 46-40 and the boys taking it on the chin 98-30. The girls were led by Rylee Dunkin’s 20 points, Kisha Reed was a rebounding machine with 14 boards on the night, which puts her at 109 for the season through eight games. The boys committed a lot of turnovers and allowed Moravia to run in transition most of the game. Coach Mateo Varese told KNIA/KRLS Sports they did not play close to their capability. Both teams will welcome arch-rival Melcher-Dallas in on Friday, which is also Twin Cedars’ Coaches vs. Cancer game.
