New Simpson College football coach Reed Hoskins was introduced Tuesday, officially taking over the program after a month-long coaching search. Hoskins said he knows that the players haven’t seen the results they would have liked over the last two years, but he knows they are ready to buy in and change things.

“They are hungry. You can tell. Meeting with the team and meeting with the leaders during the process, and even last night when things were announced, I was in the car trying to call as many of the guys as I could and just tell them the plan for what’s next. The guys are really eager to fully invest in the college football experience, and we are looking forward to that showing up on the field.”

Hoskins also said for the fans of the program, his teams will be playing as hard as they can at all times and he is ready to hit the ground running.
