The Pella Middle School student council has once again been busy working to serve others this holiday season and throughout the school year. President Elsie Brenneman says they’ve worked to find ways to help community causes and those in their hallways.
Among the projects they’ve completed so far this year is getting gifts for the Crossroads of Pella Adopt-a-Family program and helping the non-profit with Toys for Tots. The group also has written a grant proposal once again to the Pella Community Foundation for their annual Meals from the Heartland packing day and will hold a food drive after returning from winter break in conjunction with the Super Bowl for the Pella Food Shelf.
