The Pleasantville varsity wrestling team was fourth in the West Central Activities Conference (WCAC) Tournament Saturday. The meet was held at West Central Valley High School.
Interstate-35 won the league title with 222.5 points followed by Woodward-Granger in second with 158.5 points. Pleasantville was fourth with 130 points overall.
Pleasantville crowned one champion for the day, Caleb Cook at 132 pounds improved to 17-2 overall. In the title match Cook pinned a wrestler from Interstate-35 in 1:38. Two Trojan wrestlers were second, Trevor Nickel at 145 and Dillen Ammons at 182.
Other PHS place winners were Carter Metcalf in third along with Ross Stephens. Tyler Gibson finished fourth in the tournament. Taking fifth were Blake Rowson and Carson Ammons while Silas Koenig and Wyatt Mann each placed sixth.
The Trojans will be off now until January 5 when they wrestle at Colfax in a quadrangular.
