Vermeer enters the new year with another record for sales over the past 12 months. CEO and President Jason Andringa says the global manufacturer is especially strong as it relates to infrastructure work and the technology they’ve developed to place fiber and electric lines underground.
“We’ve now experienced six consecutive years of growth and five consecutive record years and the demand of the vast majority of products we design and build remains robust,” he says.
Andringa believes they have resolved a lot of the issues that plagued the company as it related to the supply chain — their biggest hurdle to clear now is people.
“We are now to the point where our number one constraint is workforce and getting sufficient team members to work alongside our team to get the production out that we need to meet demand,” Andringa says.
