Rosalin Thompson Head Librarian at the Knoxville Public Library tells KNIA/KRLS News that when you are having fun, time flies by as she looks at the year that just is wrapping up at the library.

The Knoxville Public Library is accredited at Tier 3, the highest level of accreditation set by the State Library of Iowa. By meeting and exceeding the standards of service in serving Iowa and the Public Library Standards.

Thompson, “A lot of your listeners know that we collect data throughout the whole year and we report that to the library board every month when we have our meetings. And we always report the stats to the state library.”

There were over 22,000 visits to the library during the year.
