The Indianola boys basketball team wrapped up the the 2022 portion of the season last week with a win over Carlisle, and remain undefeated to begin the season and are ranked #6 in class 4A. With a large group of returning seniors with a wealth of varsity playing time experience, the team’s goal is to make it further than any Indianola team has in years, the state tournament at Wells Fargo Arena. Senior guard Dakota Heimbaugh said the team relishes the pressure they put on themselves, as it gives them a goal to work towards, not something to shy away from.The Indians return to action January 3rd at Grinnell High School.
