The main construction on the streets for the Downtown Indianola Square Reconstruction Project was finished this fall, continuing a process that took over two years to complete. Public Works Director Akhilesh “AP” Pal tells KNIA News the project is not fully finished as of yet however.

“Overall the project is completed, the mainline paving is completed. Next year we will see the parking lots and alleyways near the square being started, so property owners are still going to see some construction, but not nearly what we saw with the main paving portion.”
