Todd Allen from the state of Pennsylvania made the trip to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville Wednesday. Allen was the winner of the Triple X/Moyle Racing Engines 410 Raffle Sprint Car. He won the car in a raffle held December 16.
Allen is a part-time sprint car racer. He plans on racing the car in the spring at Port Royal Speedway in Pennsylvania in 2023. He told people at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum it is the first new race car he has owned.
Melissa Pennington, Special Events Coordinator at the Hall of Fame tells KNIA/KRLS News, “Our winner was Todd Allen, he is from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. When he showed up Wednesday, he was really excited because he said this was his first ever brand new race car he has ever had in his life. He said more than likely it will be the only brand new race car he will have.”
Former World of Outlaw racer and a past Knoxville Nationals Champion, Bobby Allen, is his uncle.
