The Warren County Board of Supervisors held their first meeting of the new board Tuesday, swearing in re-elected member Crystal McIntyre and newly elected Mark Snell, with Darren Heater selected to serve as the new board chair. The organizational meeting included setting meeting times, the authorization to pay claims, holidays, and mileage reimbursement.
In the regular meeting, the board approved a bid for $1.97 million for the resurfacing of Hwy G72 and the milling of Hwy R57, tabled a contract regarding fuel storage tank services, and held a discussion regarding applying for Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency Funds.
The board also held a work session discussing the county organizational chart, and held a discussion regarding work sessions and long term planning.
