The PCM basketball teams take the floor for the first time in the new year tonight, with a doubleheader at Montezuma.

The Mustangs girls squad enters the contest with a 5-5 overall record following a 57-52 loss at Roland-Story before Christmas Break, while the Bravettes hold an 8-1 mark after opening the new year with a 51-point win against Keota. The PCM boys come into their game with a 3-6 overall record after their 64-39 loss at Roland-Story to close out 2022, while Montezuma boasts a 6-3 record after dropping their first game of 2023 to Keota on Tuesday. 

The PCM basketball doubleheader at Montezuma High School begins at 6 p.m. with the girls game, followed by the boys game around 7:30 p.m.
