The Bussey Fire and Rescue Department will be holding their first annual BFD (Big Flippin Deer) Contest at the Bussey Community Center.

Pre-entry for the deer will be January 13th from 5-7 p.m.. Pre-entry fee is $20, 2022 tagged deer only are eligible for the contest. Deer will be scored Friday, January 13th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Scoring will be done by Boone and Crockett Club.

Payout will be determined on the number of entries, top three will be paid. There will be a free will donation supper from 5-8:30 p.m. on January 14th.

The supper includes chili, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and dessert. A raffle will be held at 8 p.m. as part of the fundraiser.
