The Pleasantville Trojan Boys’ Basketball squad squared their record at 5-5 overall with a non-conference win over the Colfax-Mingo Tiger-Hawks Thursday night in Colfax.

The Trojans held quarter leads of 18-7 at the end of one quarter and 37-16 at halftime en route to the 76-42 win.

Dayson Leerhoff was the Trojan scoring leader with 32 points. It was a game that saw 11 Trojans score points. 

Trojan Coach Taylor Phipps credited the defense with a solid performance that led to Pleasantville transition baskets. The Trojans play again Friday against Interstate-35 at home.
