A special experience with unique classes, internships, and trips far away from home has wrapped up on Eagle Lane. The 11th annual Winterim finished on Tuesday, with regular classes beginning today at Pella Christian High School.
More than 50 businesses welcomed Pella Christian students over the past week, and two groups left Pella for trips — one group to New York City and the other to support Many Hands and their new location in the Bahamas.
“Through our Winterim trip to New York City, I’ve learned about a completely different lifestyle, one practically opposite of our life in Pella,” said Pella Christian Junior Mia Andringa. “It was really cool to get a tour of some of the oldest Catholic churches here in the US and learn from a local pastor. I’m so thankful for this opportunity to come to this city and show God’s love to those around me.”
