Four Central College track and field freshmen took part in the Dutch Early Bird Pentathlon Friday night, including a winning performance from Olivia Bohlen (freshman, Belle Plaine).

Bohlen totaled 2,971 points, topping the other two female competitors by over 500 points.

On the men’s side, Grant Miller (freshman, Norwalk) was No. 2 in the nine-man field with 3,126 points. Gage Huyser (freshman, Pella) was third with 3,025 points and Grant Smith (freshman, Audubon) was fourth with 2,817 points.

Central hosts the Dutch Athletics Classic at noon on Saturday.
