The Pleasantville student council will be selling pink cotton candy.

There will also be some homemade pies and gift cards available for the fundraiser. There will also be an elementary coloring contest.

Cook tells KNIA/KRLS News, “We will just be collecting donations as well. In the past, I believe last year we raised about $8,000.”

Pleasantville will be holding their cancer awareness event at the high school Friday, Jan 20 when the Trojans play host to Des Moines Christian in a girl-boy basketball doubleheader starting at 6:15 p.m. The Trojans will be special uniforms trimmed in pink.
