The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday. The council will swear in new firefighter and police department positions, in addition to the appointment of council members to boards and commissions and members of the public to serve on the boards and commissions that assist the council.
The council will consider a rezoning request for the Missouri Valley Line Training Facility, and a planned unit development from The Village. The council will also consider a major site plan application for a day care center at 1010 North Jefferson Way. Before the regular session begins, the council will have a study session that includes a budget report and a report on the Downtown Façade and Interior Improvement Program. The study session begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
