The Indianola City Council met in a regular session Tuesday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday on Monday, swearing in Fire Captains Chuck Cross and Eric Wallace, and Police Lieutenant Rick Largesse and Justin Keller.
The council opened a public hearing regarding a planned unit development for The Village, and elected to keep the hearing open to continue consideration of the plan at the meeting on February 6th. The council also approved a rezoning request from the Missouri Valley Line Training Facility and a major site plan for a daycare center at 1010 N Jefferson Way before holding a discussion on the city compensation plan.
The council also held a work session before the meeting began to discuss a budget report and review a report on the Downtown Façade and Interior Improvement Program.
