Two Pella bowlers put together some of the best ever high scores in program history in a split with Davis County Tuesday.
The Dutch boys won 2651 to 2270 and the girls fell 2147-1952.
Carter Failor rolled a 471 series — including a 267 individual score. The two-game mark is the 4th best in school history and the 267 is the second best individual game in seven years to the 290 rolled by Reid Miller in January of 2019. Anna DeNooy now also finds herself in the top five all-time with her 319 series rolled in the girls matchup.
The team score for the Pella girls was also the 5th highest ever — just 30 pins from the All-Time mark of 1982.
