The Norwalk wrestling team will square off against another CIML opponent tonight, traveling to Johnston to take on the Class 3A 7th-ranked Dragons at 7:30 p.m.

The Warriors enter the dual with a 4-4 overall record following Tuesday’s 59-7 home loss vs. top-ranked Southeast Polk. Johnston is 13-4 on the season and boasts seven state-ranked individuals, led by No. 1-ranked 152-pounder Jacob Helgeson.

Norwalk has four state-ranked wrestlers in the latest Class 3A rankings compiled by IAwrestle. Tyler Harper is ranked third at 106 pounds, Donovan Card is 11th at 138, Dominic Tigner is 10th at 152 and Maddux Borcherding-Johnson remains No. 1 at 285.

Tonight’s meet will start with junior varsity matches at 6:30.
