Pella Historical Society is receiving a big boost from a local organization. The non-profit is getting a grant from Precision Pulley & Idler – PPI in Pella for $20,000 to help with two projects.

The Klokkenspel is getting a complete renovation to update electrical systems, digital components, bells, screens, and mannequins. In addition, Pella Historical has committed, along with the City of Pella, to completely overhauling the sound system used on the streets at Tulip Time and other outdoor events during the year.
