
The Pleasantville Trojans won all three matches Thursday at the Albia Quadrangular Wrestling Meet.
The Trojans beat Albia 43-36, Central Decatur 73-6 and Davis County 69-12. In the win over Central Decatur the Trojans lost one match. PHS had four pins, seven forfeits and a decision.
Against the Davis County Mustangs the Trojans again were dominate 69-12 with two losses while winning with nine falls, a decision and two forfeits.
In the narrow win over Albia, the Trojans won with six pins from Caleb Cook, Silas Koenig, Carter Metcalf, Ross Stephens, Carson Ammons and Tommy Booth. Tyler Gibson added a 4-2 decision and Dillen Ammons had an 8-0 major decision.
The Trojans wrestle again Saturday at the Interstate-35 Tournament.
