The Twin Cedars Girls basketball Squad started fast against Orient-Macksburg and had to hold on for a 49-39 win over the Bulldogs. The Sabers blew out Orient-Macksburg in the 1st half leading 33-12 at the break but were outscored 27-16 in the 2nd half. Cheyanne Bruns scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack, Kisha Reed had ten points, while Rylee Dunkin and Kenzyn Roberts scored nine points, each. The Sabers will await their opponent in the Bluegrass Conference quarterfinals on Monday which could be Orient-Macksburg again as the Bulldogs play Lamoni tonight.
