The Village in Indianola is proposing a $36 million expansion that came before theIndianola City Council last week, however the public hearing was left open due to residents concerns in the area. City Manager Ben Reeves tells KNIA News the process the city has in place to keep an open line of dialogue to address the residents’ concerns and potential alterations of the plan are working.

“Residents came out, several had concerns, and The Village did a great job trying to listen to those concerns, make some modifications to the plans, and bring it back through the planning and zoning commission and then through the council. By keeping the public hearing open, we allow that process to continue and for us to receive input during the entire duration.”
