The Knoxville Bowling Squads will make one final appearance at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa for a home meet against Creston today. The Panthers, while not seeing wins this year, are seeing progress. Coach Shaun Renard is pleased with the progress and hopes the mental aspect of the game also keeps getting better.
Renard: “You can definitely tell when a kid is struggling on the mental side. We get a break between the individuals and the Baker games, a kid can really settle down and be apart of the team if they struggle in the individual games.”
Knoxville is coming off a loss to Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday. The Girls have been led most of the season by Brigette Renard…who has the team lead in total pin fall (2,639), high game (220) and high series (381). For the boys Tristen Carter leads in total pin fall with 3,319, Donovan Binns has the high game of the season at 236, he also has the high series at 428.
