Yesterday afternoon shortly before 2 pm the Indiana Township Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Highway 5 south of Attica. While en route, a deputy on scene advised that a 15×30 shed had flames coming from the chimney and wood stove. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the eves of the structure. The fire was immediately contained, and ventilation of the structure revealed an extension into the attic. They were assisted on the scene by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
