The City of Indianola has a safe exchange zone in the City Hall parking lot, with two parking spots of the Indianola Police Department designated specifically for that purpose.

Police Chief Brian Sher said you can do child exchanges there, if you don’t want people coming to your house if you buy or sell something online you can meet there, and it just provides a safe place for community members which is under camera surveillance 24 hours a day.

The parking spots are located on the south side of the City Hall building, near the entrance to the Indianola Police Department.
