After its blowout win over Moulton-Udell on Friday, the Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad will get to play the overall #1 seed in the class one-A substate, Baxter. The Bolts are 17-1 on the season and with a couple of exceptions, tore through their opponents with relative ease averaging 75 points per game and going unbeaten in the Iowa Star Conference South Division. With all of that fire power the Sabers are not going to be intimidated. Coach Mateo Varese tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his guys are playing for each other, and know that there is little to no pressure on them going in.

Varese: “Get better, enjoy being with each other. We also are realizing this is coming to and end, and these younger guys are playing for the seniors, because they want to send them off the right way.”

Tip off from Baxter High SChool is set for 7:00.
