
Local Warren and Marion County wrestlers earned spots at the state meet at Wells Fargo Arena later this week after their qualifying matches on Saturday.
Knoxville is sending five wrestlers to state including Luke Spaur, Chaz Graves, Daniel Gorskikh, Wayne Johnston, and Trenton Kingery.
Indianola qualified eight wrestlers, including Bowen Downey, Jake and AJ Pontier, Ryan Young, Dax Clatt, Jensen Dyer, Isaiah Kellow, and Gabby King.
The trio of Maddux, Kolton, and Kadan Borcherding-Johnson were among the nine wrestlers Norwalk qualified to state, in addition to Tyler Harper, Tate Turner, Harrison Tripp, Aiden Moret, Donovan Card, and Dominic Tigner.
Pleasantville’s Dillen Ammons will be joined by Caleb Cook and Tommy Booth, while the Melcher-Dallas/Southeast Warren team will be represented by Brayden Scheffers, Logan Montgomery, and Tate Dierking
