In their final competitive shows of the winter season, the Pella High School show choirs brought home more hardware Saturday. At the Cedar Rapids Washington Mo Show, varsity choir Acapella placed 3rd overall and first in their class, earning “Most Creative Show” in a field that included some of the largest schools in Iowa. Pella’s prep division choir Bravo placed third, and Abbie Brand earned best soloist in that class.
That wraps up the competitive season for the show choirs, as they now turn their attention towards hosting the annual Dutch Masters Invitational, which features 18 different ensembles from middle school through varsity this Friday and Saturday, and all three Pella show choirs performing in exhibition as hosts.
