Knoxville’s Tristen Carter is headed to the class 1A State Bowling Meet after winning the individual title at the State Qualifier Tuesday at Dutch 200 Bowl and Grill in Pella. Carter’s 676 was 24 pins better than the runner-up. As a team Knoxville finished 3rd with a score of 2605 and did not qualify for State. Pella Christian finished 6th with a score of 2104 led by Andrew VanKooten with a score of 498. Carter will advance to the State Meet at Maple Lanes in Waterloo next Tuesday.
