A late season winter storm is in the forecast, with heavy snow possible, according to the National Weather Service.

A winter storm warning has been issued, starting at 9:00 this evening and continuing until 6 p.m. Thursday. Widespread snowfall totals up to four-to-seven inches are becoming increasingly likely during that time. Travel is expected to be difficult all day Thursday, as cooler temperatures arrive with winds gusting up to 35 MPH.
