The City of Indianola Rental Housing Inspection Program began in 2022, after the latest census data showed the city with a population of over 15,000 which prompted the creation of the program as required by state law.
Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News rental housing in the city limits of Indianola are currently being inspected, in the first of three inspection periods taking place over the next several years.
