The Indianola Police Department and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating two suspicious deaths.

At 12:30 this afternoon, Indianola Police Department officers conducted a welfare check at 1315 E Iowa Avenue, apartment #7. The officers forced their way into the apartment, finding two deceased adults.

Officers, along with agents and crime scene technicians with the Iowa DCI, are investigating the deaths as suspicious. There is no threat to the public related to this investigation.

The names of the deceased are being withheld, pending family notification.
