The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation is entering its 20th year. May 10 will be the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Night at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center (KPAC) at the high school starting at 7 p.m.
Froyen, who is board president for the foundation, tells KNIA/KRLS News, “Every student who applies for a scholarship receives one.”
There are only two requirements according to Froyen, they have to apply and the second, in order to receive their scholarship money they must send a thank you letter to the scholarship donor, who donated the money to them.
The group is currently accepting applications for scholarships. The due date for the applications is March 1 and should be turned in at the high school counselors office. To find out more go to the website at kpsfoundation.org and click on the news tab.
