Knoxville’s Tristen Carter will bowl in the class 1A State Meet at Maple Lanes in Waterloo. Carter qualified last week at Pella by winning the individual title at the class 1A State Qualifier by rolling a 676 series. His Coach Shaun Renard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, Carter will need to have the right mindset to finish as high as possible.

Renard: “If he’s in the same mindset that was I’m going to win this he’ll do great. I’m going to preach to him that he just needs to do the best he can and not focus on the overall outcome. If we need to make some adjustments physically then we will do that.”

Carter will bowl three games and after that the top eight individuals will go to an elimination bracket. Listen for details on Carter’s day on KNIA/KRLS.
