The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation is entering its 20th year. May 10 will be the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Night at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center (KPAC) at the high school starting at 7 p.m.
Curt Froyen, who is board president for the foundation, tells KNIA/KRLS News that every student who applies for a scholarship receives one.
In the past 19 years over one and a half million dollars in scholarship awards have been distributed to Knoxville High School graduates.
The group is currently accepting applications for scholarships. The due date for the applications is March 1 and should be turned in at the high school counselor’s office
