Two former Knoxville Softball Players were in opposing dugouts on Monday as Northwest Missouri State took on Quincy University in an early season game in Topeka, Kansas. Jaydn Streigle, who was the starting pitcher for the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats earned her 1st collegiate win as she helped the Bearcats to a 4-2 win. The other Panther on the field was wearing the colors of Quincy as Maddy Findley, who had spent the last two seasons at Indian Hills Community College. Findley did get a hit off of her former teammate and went 1/3 on the day while Streigle went the distance getting the win scattering seven hits, allowing two runs, walking one and striking out seven. Northwest Missouri State is currently 6-4 and will play in the Washburn Invitational this weekend while Quincy is 1-5 and will head to the Blue Ridge Battle in Evansville, Indiana this weekend.
