The Indianola City Council met in regular session Tuesday evening, which included the annual Maximum Property Tax Dollars Hearing. The council approved the maximum property tax levy for FY24, which included a proposed increase of 3.5%, collecting a maximum of $7,983,356.The council will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY24 budget in March.

The council first met in a study session to review the Hotel/Motel Tax Revenue. The council also went into closed session to discuss the purchase or sale of real estate.
