Knoxville High School teacher Sean Sanger has his manufacturing class doing some high-quality work-based learning experiences. His class was featured in an article by the Iowa Department of Education for the quality experiences the students are learning.
Sanger tells KNIA/KRLS News about some of the projects completed by the class, “Boy we’ve made a lot of different things for our community over the years. This year particularly they got a little bit more publicity like the ribbon with wings sculpture.”
The sculpture was viewed at Ladies Night Out. It is currently at the Knoxville Hospital. The class also built a huge butterfly working with Weiler that was in the Merry-N-County Christmas lights show. It will be displayed at the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden, near the new wing of the hospital.
