The Central College Men’s basketball team begins their pursuit of a berth in the NCAA Division III National Tournament tonight, as they host the Loras College Duhawks in the American Rivers Conference Tournament semifinals.

The Dutch, who received a first-round bye in the conference tournament, clinched the #1 seed with their exciting 76-74 win over Simpson College this past Saturday. The Duhawks held off a late charge from Wartburg College Tuesday night to advance in the conference tournament with an 85-80 win. With the double round robin regular season schedule in the conference, tonight will mark the third meeting this season between Central and Loras. The Dutch managed to sweep the regular season series over the Duhawks winning the first meeting at home 83-71, then going on the road and winning 66-56.
