The Indianola boys basketball team has one step in front of them before the substate final round, and will have to go through the Lions of Linn-Mar to get there. Linn-Mar defeated Iowa City Liberty in the quarterfinal round 76-63, and feature a team that doesn’t turn the ball over a significant amount at just 11.2 per game. The Lions also feature one of the top young scorers in class 4A in sophomore Davis Kern, who puts across 19.9 points per game. The Indians have only lost twice this year, only to class 4A ranked teams, and haven’t dropped a game since late January. The game is at Indianola High School at 7pm tomorrow.
