The cast has been set for the Knoxville Area Community Theatre (K-ACT) production of Little Women. This stage adaptation of the classic American novel will be presented April 21, 22 and 23 at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. Tickets will go on sale in March.
Little Women tells the story of the March sisters as they navigate growing up amid the hardships experienced by many during the time of the American Civil War. Scott Davidson adapted this play from the original story written by Louisa May Alcott in 1868. Lori Pearson will direct the K-ACT production.
Abby Dart, Mackenzie Niday, RaShaun Boyer, Rebekah Bennett and Taylor Decious will play the sisters in the K-ACT production. They will be joined on-stage by Phyllis Boyer, Rachael Stoops, Greg May, Carol Adkins, Leo Vermeer, Justin Lenger, Denise Becker, Anni Winward, Chloe Carter and Aliana Pearson.
A short comedy, Adventure in a Small Town, will precede each Little Women performance. This play will feature Lily Steenhoek, Rebecca Root and Claire Root.
