Knoxville’s Luke Spaur ended his high school wrestling career where all high school wrestlers want to end up, at the State Meet. While the ultimate goal for Spaur was not met, he was able to take home a 4th place finish in the 138 pound weight class in class 2A. Spaur tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was pleased with how he wrestled and how the week went.

Spaur: “I felt great, I wrestled tough, and there were no easy matches and won and I was pretty proud of how I wrestled.”

Spaur lost in the semi-finals and finished with a 42-3 record. He will play baseball for the Panthers this summer, and continue his wrestling career at Cornell College next winter.
