The 3rd seeded Simpson Storm women’s basketball team blew out Dubuque Tuesday evening at home, and will now have to try and overcome a Loras team that have had trouble scoring against in the American Rivers Conference semifinals tonight.
The Storm shot lights out against Dubuque Tuesday at home, shooting nearly 50% from three-point range, and will need all of it against a Duhawks team that held the Storm to 41 points in their first matchup in November, and then blew out the Storm by 25 in the second round-robin in late January.
Simpson has won six in a row and haven’t lost in February, and are looking for their third straight trip to the American Rivers Conference championship game and staying alive for their third straight title. Tip-off is at 7pm.
