WeLIFT Job Search Center in Indianola is holding a special event in March, simulating the challenges formerly incarcerated individuals face when trying to re-enter the community. The event will be an interactive learning experience of what it takes to get back on your feet after serving time incarcerated, including being tasked with finding a job, going to treatment, maintaining stable housing, and complying with parole conditions during a guided simulation.
The event will be on March 2nd from 9am to noon at the Lighthouse Community Center, with registration required. The event is sponsored by WeLIFT and Central Iowa WORKS. Find more information below.
