Yesterday a group of Knoxville Middle School students who have been part of the Winter Theatre Experience performed their plays for the Knoxville Elementary students from North and West. The performance was held at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. It was a series of three short plays, “The Cow Said Neigh,” “Dancing, Prancing Lily,” and “The Tawny Scrawny Lion.”

Marty Adkins, who helps direct the performances tells KNIA/KRLS News, “Well I thought the kids did a good job. We probably ran out of, they performed it twice and I think they were getting pretty tired toward the end. They hung in there real well. I thought they did a lot of the things we were asking them to do. In terms of projecting well and staying in character and helping each other out if they ran into rough patches.”

Knoxville Area Community Theater members Marty Adkins and Justin Lenger worked with students Noah Bauer, Tristan Bauer, Jade Raney, Jazmine Sedlock, Julianna Sedlock, Joel Swartzendruber and Anna Greenlee.

Adkins said he felt the elementary kids had a lot of fun.
