The Simpson women’s basketball team had their win streak and season come to a close on the road at Loras Thursday night in the American Rivers Conference semifinals, falling 88-54. The Storm couldn’t keep up with the Duhawks, shooting just 13% from deep and only scoring 31 points at halftime. After a mini-run in the third to get them within striking distance, the Storm gave up 45 second half points while only scoring 23. The Storm’s season ends with a record of 16-11, 10-6 in the conference, and a third place regular season finish.
